Zoom Meeting

In this season of giving, PRSA Chesapeake invites three regional non-profit leaders to share their outreach strategies: how they enlist volunteers, find and communicate with donors, and spread their organizations’ missions into the community. In a virtual discussion, we will find out what has worked for these non-profit pros and what hasn’t, what their “labors of love” have taught them about communications, and how we can get involved and give back to our community.

Our Panelists:

Susan Thomas, executive director of Anne Arundel County Food Bank
Mission: To fight hunger ensuring that all those in need have access to food, nutritional supplements, and baby food.

Monica Alvarado, founder of Feed Anne Arundel
Mission: To pay restaurants across Anne Arundel County to prepare nutritious meals for those in our community in need: keeping people fed, keeping people employed, and keeping businesses afloat.

Rob Levit, executive director of Creating Communities

Mission: To harness the power of the arts to build life skills and self-esteem and foster connections across cultures. To partner with communities and provide underserved populations with direct access to the arts through innovative programs and mentorships.

*** Registration fees for this event and an additional contribution from PRSA Chesapeake will be donated to Anne Arundel Food Bank, which our chapter has supported in this season for a few years in a row. We invite attendees to give back in the form of volunteerism or funds to the organizations represented on this panel.
