Annapolis, MD (February 25, 2016) — The Central Chesapeake Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and the Annapolis and Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce (AAACCC) are co-hosting a luncheon program from 12-1:30 pm on March 15th at Union Jack’s British Pub in Annapolis addressing “The Years 9 Top Changes in Digital and Social Media.” Guest speaker, Senior Digital and Social Marketing expert, Dave Mahoney, will explain the nine most extraordinary changes in the digital world and introduce competitive sniping along with other keys to running a successful marketing campaign. “Innovation is constant – great social and digital campaigns require a daily commitment to research and application,” said Mahoney. He will walk the group through competitive sniping (how organizations can insert their message within competitor’s email/social media traffic). He will also address the marketing challenges of a local company who will be chosen prior to the program.  Attendees interested in being featured by Mahoney as a case study may submit a paragraph on their organizations current marketing challenges to [email protected] by March 14.

Mahoney got off to a fast start as valedictorian of his college class and subsequently earned an MBA at Harvard.  He currently directs the Digital Marketing Practice at Renegade Communications, helping clients with lead generation, sales, and branding campaigns using over 60 digital tools and platforms, from traditional pay-per-click and banner campaigns to the latest Instagram and competitive domain conquesting ad routines.  Noteworthy clients of Renegade’s Digital Practice include NBC Universal, The Discovery Channel, and Loyola University.   Mahoney also has leadership experience in Fortune 500 and entrepreneurial tech start-ups, including Bill Me Later, PayPal and eBay, and has led the enterprise marketing efforts for local firms such as Under Armour and Joseph A. Bank.
