Upcoming Event

Don’t wait for a communications crisis to consume you before you act. Prepare for it effectively and have PR and legal council on the same team working together. Attend “Crisis Planning- Do it Right” on June 23 from noon to 1:30 on June 23 at Union Jack’s in Annapolis. Communication in a time of crisis within an organization is crucial.  But why are the communicators and lawyers so often at odds with one another on response?  Whether the crisis is operational or reputational, a well thought out and exercised plan is essential for all parties to know their roles and responsibilities in advance. Join the Central Chesapeake Chapter of The Public Relation s Society of America (PRSA) and the Annapolis and Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce to hear from two experts in the field of crisis management and crisis communications. What rises to the level of a true crisis and when and how to pull the trigger on your plan? That will be the focus of remarks by a PR crisis pro and a lawyer with similar experience.

RSVP by Monday, May 22nd or register onsite on the 23rd. Call Katie Sushko, at 410-271-1498, Angie Howard, at 202-375-8486  or PRSAChesapeake@gmail.com for more information.
