Are you able to define what diversity and inclusion means or do you think it doesn’t involve you? Think again. While the CEO sets the tone for the organization, change can only occur through organizational support.  The City College of New York (CCNY) Asst. Prof. Angela K. Chitkara believes, “Diversity and inclusion is as much a part of bringing more people of color and the LGBTQ community into the agency, and advancing female executives into senior ranks, as it is a socio-economic issue. It’s about living and thinking in the 21st century.” Angela Chitkara will share her research findings based on interviews conducted with agency CEOs.  Porter Novelli, CEO and Senior Partner, Brad MacAfee will respond to the findings and offer his recommendations along with Senior Partner Helen Shelton at Finn Partners, who will share her institutional knowledge and speak to the organizational change that needs to occur.

By the end of this course participants will be able to:
- Develop an understanding of the definition of diversity and inclusion
- Understand the correlation of business objectives with diversity and inclusion
- Develop an awareness of your level of engagement with diversity and inclusion within your agency
